    Bills work out kicker

The Buffalo Bills worked out free agent PK Josh Huston (Bears) Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Why do you think we are working out a kicker? Is Lindell's contract up soon?

we worked out Micah Knorr a punter earlier in the season, did that make any sense? No, teams just do that incase of an injury and to see if any players are better than when they last saw them trying out or on the field........i do like th potential of this guy considering a good history of kickers from OSU

Actually, its probably a carry on from Donahoes regime. As you may remember, he made a habit of bringing in street FA's to get an update on them in their database.

Its nothing more than information gathering.

I actually like this idea, if they need to act fast, they have a clearer picture.

With all the deadweight we have it shure would be nice to have a kickoff specialist that can put it deep in the endzone.

You'd think we work out a lineman. What's next, try outs for DB?

Lindel is doing everyting that you would ask for from a kicker in the NFL. His fieldgoals are long and straight, and he is kicking 90% of his balls inside the 5 yd line.

The Bills brought in the other kicker guy just to see what he could do in an emeergency. Hell, they just video taped it, the Bobby April wasn't even there. It was just for future reference.

                    ABsolutely right.
Need to prepare for an injury or something unforseen.

                    NOthing wrong with this move.

Lindell is UFA, so the Bills are likely to be working out many street PK's in case they cannot re-sign him
