Recently retired commissioner Paul Tagliabue is a nominee for the second time, and wide receiver Michael Irvin and running back Thurman Thomas are among the finalists from last year who will be considered again.

Ralph Wilson is as well although it doesnt say it in this article.

Best all-purpose back EVER.

If he had had a little better of a personality, he would have been an even bigger star.

If Tags gets in before Thurman or Ralph, I'm going to be pissed.

Thurman, Bruce Matthews and Roger Craig are probably the favorites, from what I've been reading from the voters they've interviewed.

Thurman deserves to be in this year! I have a question, when is Bruce Smith eligible?

Thurman definitely belongs.

A couple of years ago I got an e-mail from Thurman thanking me for this article. I did not write it

Thurman Thomas: One of the Greatest Ever
His career started and ended with a question about his knee. In between, no one ever questioned his heart.

If the Thurmanator doesn't get voted in this year there's something seriously wrong with that selection committee. Thurm should be in and Andre next.
