I never really saw what the big deal with Moulds was. I never thought he was that good. I'm glad he's gone.

If you are going to use God then you should at least capitalize it.

Moulds was a warrior, he has lost a step or two though.

Even though Evans is having better nos. we still could've used MOulds bigtime. The guys we have other than Evans don't require double teams. None of them are able to take away pressure from Evans. Evans would've had way better nos. if Moulds were here.

still need an offensive line to block for the QB

Theres no question about it. But Moulds isnt worth $8m a year. Sucks to see him go, but that is too much money.

wasn't talking about his $$. Just that we need his abilities.

Gotcha. And I agree, we definately lack a possession reciever like Moulds. We need some size at WR.

The numbers tilt to Evans, however, he is a #1 whereas Moulds is NOW considered a #2. Maybe this is the evidence to show just how much Lee Evans needs a bonified #2 reciever to "play" off of. I, for one, wouldn't mind at all if the Bills were drafting high and took Calvin Johnson. The concept of having two #1's seems to work well in Indianapolis with Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne! Yes, I know about the O-line, but that may be a free agency acquisition (or two)!!

I think Moulds was increasingly becoming a disruptive element who didn't merit the high wages he was receiving, but unfortunately we did not take the steps to adequately replace him. It did take 3 or 4 years for him to start producing though. I think that we need to get much bigger at No2 WR. In FA there are going to be at least 3 big WRs available in Ernest Wilford, Kelley Washington and Tyrone Calico. I think all are at least 6ft3, not slouches would certainly come to the Bills to be a starter alongside Evans and due to their size alone would cause match up problems. Even though one has been a bust, and the other two role players to date, there's no reason that one or other won't step up.

Regarding Calvin Johnson, whilst he is a great player I am interested in the guy who had him in his back pocket last season - 2 catches for 19 yds - Eric Weddle of Utah who would be an end of Day1/Day2 pick and who has started at CB and S. Considering all of our basic needs, like a QB, he is a luxury pick. And in all drafts there seems to be great WR. I want us to focus on our greatest need, the trenches on both sides and also where we are going to lose players in FA like at LB and DB.

JP can't read a defense or get through his progressions so what good would more receivers be?
