So what the hell is it??

    Are we 10-0-0-1?

    or 10-0-1?

The first one looks rediculous. My friend claims its like that. But according to the NHL.com page, its 10-0-1.

It's not a big deal by any means but I was just curious.

      Wins - Losses - Overtime/Shootout Losses

      So

      10 - 0 - 1

an overtime goal counts the same in the standings as a shootout win so they combine them, but i agree they should be listed separately even if just for interest sake. i believe ive seen some places list it like that but it should the the standard imo

i was trying to remember how shootout scoring works, does the winner always win by a goal no matter how many times the teams score in the shootout. if so do they credit that goal to anyone

Shootout winners win the game by a single goal regardless of the shootout score, nobody gets credit for the goal.

As for the standings, It used to be listed as Wins-Losses-Ties-Overtime Losses before the shootout was instituted... Now it's Wins-Losses-Overtime/Shootout Losses, so there are only 3 spots in the standings. The Sabres are 10-0-1...
