1. I think these are my quick-hit thoughts of Week 8:
a. ESPN seems to have renamed the NFL the DFL -- Dallas Football League. Ed Werder's going to be able to buy a chalet outside Zurich with all the overtime he's putting in. I think he's on the ESPN channels more than Katie Couric's on CBS.
b. I wonder if Indy fans, or Bears fans, were out there in the last few days thinking, We're 6-0, and every time we turn on the TV all we see is an endless reel about a 3-3 team.

I bet if all ESPN talked about was the Patriots instead of the Cowboys, Peter Queen would've complained that they still didn't have enough coverage of such a magical dynasty ruled by the New England Patriots and King Brady. :limp:

With that said, I do agree with Queen and am also very tired of hearing about the Cowgirls. :(

Can't stand the Cowboys. Or the Giants. Or the Redskins. Hmmm, each of those teams have beaten us in a Super Bowl. I guess that probably explains why I always root for the Eagles, the only team in the NFC east that hasn't beaten us in a Super Bowl.
