      Re: Mock Draft

He's a defensive tackle. But is he athletic enough to penegrat in a one gap scheme?
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

rather have OT Jake Long, Alan Branch, Justin Blalock, Brian Brohm....plus Okam may not come out. A bad mock imo.

            Re: Mock Draft

I don't think we could draft down far enough to get a teams No1 and also have them give up a 2 and a 3 as well. If Long comes out he won't last beyond No20 and to get that sort of extra payment we might need to drop from No8-10 to No26-32.

Therefore our R1 pick might end up being someone like Doug Free

We need OL help..........we can get some DL help later in the draft and in FA. Not much available in FA for the OL

My thought is that, we will easily be in the top 5. And perhaps someone will pay big for Quinn.

                  Re: Mock Draft

It's extremely hard to do mock drafts now. We're not sure who is picking where, or who is going to be eligible. And alot of players stock raises between the combine and draft day, tremendously.

                    Re: Mock Draft

                    Well lets see here....

The Raiders probably somehow aren't the worst team in the league, so they won't get Brady Quinn.

The Browns just re-signed Droughns to an extension and drafted Jerome Harrison last year who was second in D1 rushing last season, so they won't be drafting a RB.

The Dolphins have no need to draft a WR at number 3 whatsoever.

I'm sure if Detroit was 5th, they'd absolutely love if Troy Smith somehow fell to them.

And if Buffalo drafts a DT I'll literally shoot someone.

I'm not too sold that Oakland will take Quinn, either. They really like that Walters kid. If anything, they need some serious help at OL. Their OL is so freaking bad, it makes our OL look like a brick wall.

                      Oakland takes Joe Thomas.

Outside of Chambers, who do y'all have at WR? Hagan?

I really hope that we trade down, we have to many holes and an owner not willing to pay to fill them! That being said if Marv can get

Stienbach (G) cost ($$$)/ L. Briggs (LB) cost ($$$) Bennett (WR)cost ($$) and or Graham (TE) cost ($$)

Then DT M. Thomas RD 1
