    What about Leftwhich or Garard Loser as a QB option

    Garrard has been playing very good football in Jacksonville. And may keep job over Leftwhich. Both QBs are young and one will be gone as i don't see them staying as back up. I believe both are better than Losman. What do you think about that. A possible Willis for Leftwhich???

    if we dump JP the idea would be to make the position better. We should have learned our lesson about trying to use other teams' castoffs as starters by now.

        if the Bills determine JP isn't the answer, most likely we'll be in the market for 2 QB's- a cheap vet as a stopgap solution and a young guy (hopefully from the draft) to become our franchise QB.

        If we have to replace JP I'd like to get a proven QB, but it's hard and expensive to get a proven QB via trade or FA. And given the number of other needs this has (particularly OL), it would probably be a waste of money because this team lacks the tools for a decent QB to succeed.

            I live in Jacksonville and we do not want either! I will stick with JP over both of them! Leftwich has a windmill wind up which causes fumbles and he is ONLY a hair more mobile than bledsoe. Garrard is a scrambling QB with absolutly no consistant passing ability and no one knows wheter or not he can be nothing other than a BU! here are his stats;

            Year Team G GS Att Comp Pct Yds TD Int Rate
            2002 Jacksonville Jaguars 4 1 46 23 50.0 231 1 2 53.8
            2003 Jacksonville Jaguars 2 0 12 9 75.0 86 1 0 122.2
            2004 Jacksonville Jaguars 4 2 72 38 52.8 374 2 1 71.2
            2005 Jacksonville Jaguars 7 5 168 98 58.3 1117 4 1 83.9
            2006 Jacksonville Jaguars 2 1 17 10 58.8 87 0 0 72.4

            NO THANKS! I WILL TAKE JP OVER BOTH!

                  and if he's not, when exactly do we make that decision? Do you want to waste 4 years on JP like the Lions did with Harrington, the Redskins did with Ramsey, etc?

                  I'm still hoping JP can be the guy, but with each game it's getting less and less likely. And if he's not going to be the guy, I'd rather start figuring out who will be the guy sooner rather than later.

                    If JP doesn't pan out, I am not opposed to bringing in Leftwich. But if that isn't feasable, then I would like to see Jake Plummer as a stopgap.
