Jay Remiersma was cut because he wouldn't take a reduction of his 3.5 million doollar contract. He was the highest paid TE in the league last year, making more that Gonzalez in KC. Now that Remiersma's been released, how much do you think he'll be able to sign for in free agency?

Veteran minimum. He's good enough to stay in the NFL, but not good enough to warrant much more. He was always a suspect blocker, so that'll hurt his value.

He should be starting somewhere....he's better than some starters in the league.

Buttler will sign him to a 8 yr $45m contract.

His production has declined the last couple of years. He still is in the top 15 in term of TE's in receiving skills but in the bottom tier as far as run blocking. IMO his value is in the 1.5-2 million range.

He'll sign a 3yr deal worth $3.5 million with $750,000 signing bonus

In the right offensive corridinators hands he is a valuable asset. Under Gilbride he wasn't able to do what he does best. Another thing is something I read here a couple of days ago, after a couple of dropped passes Drew may have lost a little faith in his hands. I say he signs with someone for 2 to 3 mil.

his salary was more like 4.5mil for next season. We saved 3.5m by releasing him.

i think he'll sign a contract 2mil per season.
