I originally thought A-Train was not the answer as our back up but you know what if he suceeds this week against the horrific Colts run defense and runs for at least 110 yards and 1 TD plus 30 yards recieving he diserves to share time with McGahee when he gets back. I am confident in the A-Train. Lets Go Bills!!!!

what I noticed was when even the smallest hole n the line opened up he ran into it where McGahee would just dance around.

He deserves a lot more playing time.

Hell, even Thurman was regularly spelled by Davis, Riddick, Smith, etc throughout his career.

He is a better North - South runner than McGahee, thats for sure. I like McGahee, but I think we could get better production out of the RB spot.

That starts with the o-line though.

And with the QB.. A-Train has the next 2-3 weeks to prove himself. During that time we can get a better grip on what the problem really is. If A-Train comes out and has 2-3 straight 100 yard games, we know that it may be our RB not our OL..

Next week we play the worst run defense in the league.. If A- Train gets 20+ carries, he should have atleast one hundred yards. Even with our offensive line, we should be able to run on Indy. And then the next game we play Housten, who is in the bottom 10 in rush defense. I'll save my judgements for A-Train when we play a defense like Jacksonville.

McGahee is one of the most overrated players in the NFL.

Go A-Train, just watch how he keeps his legs moving! McGahee drops like a rock!!

Our OL has given up 20+ sacks this year, and is on pace to give up 52 sacks. That is pass protection ofcourse. However, we will be able to determine if our OL is the problem with the run game. I honestly think it is.

If yards ran around behind the line of scrimmage counted for something WM would be headed to the hall of fame.

he needs to step up bigtime and keep Manning off the field if we are to upset the undefeated colts.

As of right now the RB position is McGahee's to lose. He hasn't lived up to the hype and goes down too easily. There are fundamental things wrong with the way he's running namely that he doesn't hit the hole with conviction and keep his legs going. It almost seems to me like he's preserving himself for something. Probably another team closer to "Da U". I don't understand why we haven't shown more 2 back sets with A-Train in the mix. If A-Train does well over the next few weeks I could see Jauron sticking with the hot legs...

I liked picking up A Train as a back up. He hasn't been asked to do much this year, but he's come through on every opportunity he's had. There aren't too many guys on this team who can say that.

Oh, and one potential side benefit of A-train playign so well: It may provide McGahee with some extra inspiration when he gets back from his injury. He's not going to get his big payday if he has to spend the rest of the season sharing time with is back up.

A-train can get the job done. He's good at attacking the holes. He may not be as fast as mcgahee, but they are going to rely on him to pound the ball on indy.

Lets remember here.. He is a backup for a reason. Who knows, maybe he can breakout in Buffalo. He sure has the speed and strength to do so, and wasnt he a 1st rounder? What has stopped this guy from blowing up?

I'm very excited to see what this guy can bring us! He has 2 OLmen who probably like him more than they liked McGahee (they played with him in Chi-town) and a FB who also used to block for him.

Might be 4 guys on offense who play extra hard... for each other.

A- Train = A running Bowling Bowl
Colts defenders = NFL's Bowling Pins

Do the math. :flex:

Hopefully, the OL will open up some 'gaping holes', for A-Train to stick it to.
