Rob Bryden's bid to repurchase the NHL club fell apart when his main investor pulled out of the deal yesterday, forcing PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., the court-appointed monitor for the sale of the Senators, to once again seek offers for the team.
PriceWaterHouseCoopers and his silent partner saw him for the sleazeball businessman that anyone outside of Ottawa have seen for the last 5 yrs & pulled the plug. One of the dads on my son's hockey team was a key lawyer in setting up the Corel Centre deal and when you mention the Senators and Rob Bryden, he rolls his eyes and says he's just glad that Lawyers get paid up front, put it that way.
