What do you think of Marcus Thomas

as a second round pick at DT. The numbers look pretty good for him, but I really haven't seen him play. He's a little taller than Buffalo's current crop of DTs. He had 10 sacks through the first three years of college, and an estimated 40 time of 5 flat. Just on the basis of the numbers, I would say he's probably a penetrating one gap type DT that Buffalo wants, with a big enough frame to carry 310 lbs or so.

He's rated a second rounder by Consensus Draft Services and The Great Blue North Draft website. At this point in time nobody really knows for sure about any player

I agree totally with BILLSROCK1212 on this one! If character is one of the value based assumptions on a player, he fails the test. The DT crop could be interesting though with senior Justin Harrell out of Tennessee and Alan Branch out of Michigan, IF he declares (Junior)!! Another junior out of L.S.U. is highly touted too! His name is Glenn Dorsey and Mel Kiper, Jr. lists him as one of the "Elite eight" juniors coming out.

If the Bills take a DT in this draft, Glenn Dorsey is the guy that I would like to see them get, if he comes out.

I've had a chance to watch a bunch of college games lately and seen Dorsey twice. The only DT that I have seen play anywhere near as well on the nose was Michigan's DT who is a soph, I believe, and a lot shorter. Dorsey absolutely killed the Tennessee offensive linemen in that game. A Glenn Dorsey/Kyle Williams combo at DT would make the Bills a lot stronger against the run IMHO.

We need a DT and more importantly an LT in the worst way
