Bills start shopping for defensive help (http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20030228/1009128.asp)
"We feel we have to upgrade our defense," Bills President and General Manager Tom Donahoe said. "Right now the biggest priority is probably linebacker. When you look at our roster, there's what we feel is one bona fide NFL starter (London Fletcher) at that position and then a lot of other possibilities. So we need to upgrade there.
-------------------------------------------------
"We need to continually look at the defensive line," Donahoe said. "When you look at the list in free agency, the linebacker list is better than defensive line. The defensive line list right now is not a very good list."
--------------------------------------------------
It looks like the action might start quickly for Bills free-agent receiver Peerless Price. He could visit Atlanta as early as this weekend. Price currently is counting $5 million against the Bills' cap.
-------------------------------------------------
The Bills are expected to make an offer to Hollis soon, perhaps as early as today. They would like to bring Ahanotu back but are likely to want him to agree to a deal within a matter of weeks, not months. Newman is sure to sign elsewhere.
a lot of excellent points. Good article, MUST READ!!
