Which week will the Bills announce their first major signing?

I say first week of March, and it will be either Peterson, or Spikes (if Cincy doesn't match, or if Cincy says the hell with it, we're not gonna match - bye bye Spikes for cincy, hello Takeo for Buffalo).

i've heard TD talk a lot about patience and so i think our first MAJOR signing will be 4th week of March.

Very possible. Maybe this team would be best served by looking for value instead of plunking all the available cash on 1 bigname guy.

Yeah, totally agree Fairway! I'd take Peterson for cheaper than Spikes any day anyway. I hear Noble didn't resign w/ Dallas so I'd like to get him in here too.

As well, Donahoe's "poker face" has been very good. I heard from Mike that JR said in an exit interview that the Bills have no intention of signing Price. Great news IMO. Let's build that D!!!

I think they will make two big signings defensively, The first will come next week. Like I said in an earlier post. I think if they sign Petersen they will go after Douglas and pick up a 1-2 million DT later on as the price goes down but if they don't get Petersen they will go after Spikes and sign a solid DT like Thorton or Noble. I think they would rather have the first option.
