Biron to play-
BUFFALO, NY (WGR 550) - With Ryan Miller suffering from a minor muscle strain, Martin Biron will start in net for the Sabres tonight against Florida at HSBC Arena, according to Paul Hamilton.

Miller wasn't on the ice for the morning skate, which was not optional. He suffered the muscle strain during a work out.

Drew Stafford was called up from Rochester, and was on the ice for the morning skate.

Tonight's game starts at 8 p.m., with our coverage kicking off with Rick Jeanneret, and Brad Riter anchoring our pregame coverage at 7 p.m.

Keep it locked at WGR Sportsradio 550 for any and all developments on this story.

This game is a great example of why I don't want Biron to be our #1 goaltender. We need Miller back ASAP. Biron just didn't look good tonight...obviously the first goal was a horrible play by Spacek, but the breakaway he gave the shooter to much to shoot at. The goals in the 3rd were horrible...thank God we won. Go Sabres!

Vanek's first goal was just sick!!!!!!!!!

He pulled that pass out of the air with his stick, laid it perfectly on the ice then snaps it into the net. If that pass gets through we may see Florida in a break away.
