Those are Comp Att Yds by Roethlisberger so far. 2005 he average 22 pass att each match. Cowher knows that when you have a young QB you need to KISS (Keep It Simple Soldier). Now with A-train starting and being a poor mas Bus maybe we could get going. Run the football alot and throw less and not put JP in difficult situations where he be forced to throw a bad pass or take a sack.

I agree.. We should of been adding A-Train into the mix earlier in the season, imo. But thats the past now.. Anyways, we will have to rely on A-Train for the rest of the year, hopefully he can carry the load or we are going to be some sorry puppies.

Dude, they have been making it simple for Losman...how much more simple can it get than the game plan they've given him so far?

And in 2005, Losman averaged 25 attempts per game. And so far this year, 26.5 attempts.

That seems pretty simple to me.

        Your point?

Big Ben made plays and was smart with the ball. JP is struggling. Sometimes it's the O-line, but sometimes it's just him.

you know the major difference? when you saw ben, at least last year, see the pocket collapse, the o coordinator didnt say "no no, stay in the pocket, lil jp..dont wanna mess up your learning", no, Ben scrambled around, left the pocket, and threw down field for huge chunks of yardage, in fact, sometimes ben was at his best when he was pressured, and guess what, they got to the playoffs. now look at ben, he's behind a line that kinda sucks this season, and you can tell he is being protective of his body and NOT running out of the collapsing pocket now, and look at the team and his stats now. (mind u im a steelers fan too and have watched all the games, and its obvious ben is slipping because his lack of confidence in his own body now, and his oline is worse)
