Last year we were in good cap shape as well. and had those discussions about guys like Bentley, Pickett, Runyan, etc..

Now its Steinbach, Briggs, June, Freeney, etc.

Get ready for a slew of Robert Royals and Matt Bowens' again. If we are going to be a good team, its going to be through the draft.. Wilson is done spending franchise money on players.

a lot of those guys were overpaid. yes we had cap but so did those who teams that initially didn't have first until the new CBA kicked in. All of a sudden we had compeition bidding for these guys. Get it?

FYI, Pickett admitted we offered him the same that the Packers offered but he decided to go elsewhere. How is that Marv's or Wilson fault if Pickett didn't even let both teams gett into a bidding war for his services?
