    Hockey Jerseys: Replica vs. Authentic

    My usual taste is to go authentic in everything since replicas usually have printed numbers and are overall more flimsy. Can anyone here break down differences between replica NHL CCM jerseys and authentic Reebok ones?

    About $120???? I refuse to pay $200 for a shirt, so I'll just get a replica... by the way the Sabres site is actually selling all the jerseys again

      I know the price. That is obvious. Just wondering, do the replicas have stitched numbers/letters, or printed like football ones?

          Authentic- as in our ORIGINAL logo, you can't do wrong
          Any logo after that, is a bad replica, of a bad design.
          Nothing but a moneymaker for someone else, so give your money to the man, or buy the logo that represents the teams name, fans and city!

                Authentics are made from a heavier and thicker material. The difference between the two in person is obvious. They also have the fight strap sewn on the inside back. Is it worth the extra money? That's all personal preference. If you got the money to spend, why not wear what the pros wear?

                  I noticed at the game that most people wear the CCM replicas , it looks pretty authentic. And it's a lot cheaper.
