    Colvin vs. Peterson

This may have already been discussed but now that we are closer to FA, just wanted to see peoples thoughts.

If you had to choose, who would you rather have? Seems like Colvin has more big play ability, while Peterson might be better in coverage.

I would prefer Colvin the big plays.

    Colvin

The more qb pressure we get the more chances for int's. I say Colvin. Depends if we get a stud DE though.

Considering we just signed Posey we need Peterson more than Colvin. Peterson is better from sideline to sideline making tackles where Colvin is more of a pash rusher...

I agree with don 137. Posey will be the strongside rush backer, we need Peterson to be the coverage backer. If not him then Barber.

I guess I am not sold on Posey solving our rush problems from the LB spot, so I was trying to figure out what we be more important. Getting a good rush LB or finding a good coverage LB.

If you are sold on Posey, than I guess Peterson makes more sense. Peterson is definitely more of a tackling machine than Colvin, but hardly any sacks.
