is it's almost like losing half a season because we're playing for pride only. The Bills could win out and they'd still need a lot of help just to get a wild card. The games are so much more exciting when there's a legit shot at the playoffs.

Out of the last six seasons, only 2002 and 2004 had games that mattered right down until the end of the season. The rest of them were all over by week 10 or earlier.

*sigh- 10 more months til football season.

And we're just spinning our wheels, worrying out losing respectably, instead of really testing various players to see what we'll need next year. At the moment, I don't even see this as a productive rebuilding year, at least on offense.

agreed. The back 7 on D looks like it's coming together- the DL needs a lot of work and the offense is just a disgrace. It looks like the only thing we're going to gain this year on offense is a LT in Jason Peters.

the whining will stop when the winning starts. As long as we're not winning, any real fan has plenty to be upset about.

Why not see what Nall has to offer?

Why not see what Nall has to offer?
IMO, because we have to answer this JP thing once and for all. If we pull him now, there will still be people saying "he never had a full season, and he had to play behind a crappy OL". One of two things will happen over the next 7 games. Either JP will get significantly better, or supporters and haters alike will have to face the fact that he's not good enough to be our QB.

I just want the great JP experiment resolved when this season is over.

Why not see what Nall has to offer?they did. he and holcomb couldn't beat out losman straight up, but you want to see what they have to offer? The answer should be obvious.
