Chargers land Pro Bowl FB Neal. You can say this for Chargers General Manager John Butler; the man doesn’t waste much time.
Less than 24 hours into the first day of the NFL’s 2003 free agency period, Butler and the Chargers made a big splash in the free agent pool by signing Pro Bowl fullback Lorenzo Neal – regarded as one of the league’s best all-around fullbacks – to a three-year deal on Friday.
