View Full Version : Offseason Priority... Extend Angelo Crowell

After the game he had in Indy and the way he has been playing most of the year I have to believe one of the most important things we can do for the future of this rebuilding team is get Angelo signed long term.

he's proving to be a capable playmaker and disruptor with great range. the rest of our starting LB's are geting old and/or are banged up. Angelo is obvioulsy a key component to the our D in the near and not so near future.

How long does AC have on his current contract ? I don't recall him extending so I am thinking he is going ot be a FA in a year or 2.

and how much do the Bills invest in him ?

Angelo's signed through 2008, I believe.

Crowell/Tmac/Peters were all extended.

IMO, Crowell is the best player on this team. Reminds me of Cowart.

He really had a heluva game in Indy... He is definitely a LB we can build around IMO... I'm glad he's locked up for a little while. Although 2008 isn't that long

And Takeo Spikes reminds me of the post Buffalo, Cowart. :(

I think Spikes could return to form still - he's just a little psychologically shaken - injuries like he's suffered can get in your head.

Only problem - it won't surprise me to see him return to form in someone else's uniform on sundays.

Dare I say trade Willis/JP for whatever they can get for them?

I liked Willis until he couldn't score a TD on that shovel pass a few weeks backs.

I wouldn't write him off just yet. I think Marv will keep him even with a huge cap next year.
I think that Takeo is starting to feel the way he did when he forced himself out of Cincy. He wants out. This team sucks and has a losing mentality. I don't see the same fire in his eyes that I saw when he first came here. :(
