All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Clump and I were discussing this last night...the prospect of Mike Card being the 8th defenseman for this team is a little scary. What if the Sabres were to trade Ales Kotalik and a pick for a 4th or 5th D-man? Move Stafford into his place. Get depth, get a player that does the same as Kotalik and free up some $$$.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
Not a bad idea... at this point Kotalik's lone redeeming quality is his nasty slapshot from the point on Power Plays... he's not doing much else for us, and I certainly wouldn't mind adding one more D-Man, though once Tallinder and Lydman are back, I think we're in fine shape with Paetsch as our 7th guy...

Him and slapshot can be replaced by Pominville and Spacek. They can both let it rip.

Possibly but keep in mind that Card was the 3rd guy they wanted to bring up but there were injuries in rochester.
The only thing i see happening is us gettin rid of dimitri kahlinin for a better D, he has played good but not great and is making some coin, also Biron on trade deadline and bring up dennis

Yeah his ability to one time the puck can be big on the power play in the playoffs.
The Pk units play better in the playoffs and a player that can get a shot like his off on one timers can be a big help
