    Bills vs texans

    a battle of futility.

This game is about as eventful as Seneca Vocational vs Burgard

Back in the day, I remember Maple Grove upsetting a Burgard team with Richie Campbell and Marcus Whitfield on it.

          Holy Crap!

I remember MG beating us in the sectionals -- you guys were good that year.

But I didn't realize you beat Burgard, too.

Campbell and Whitfield were both studs.

I saw Whitfield do an awesome Tomahawk Dunk at Amherst HS during a game. The place was packed just to see him. I was one who drove there just to watch him play, too.

              Nope.

Wilson tournament at X-mas time. I want to say it was 1986 or 1985. They thought the team was a bunch of hick white farm boys (true for the most part) that could not play ball (false). Sean Hall jacked up 44 points the year before there was a 3-point line.

Then MG lost to Traditional in the finals. Don't ask me how. Whtfield was a Junior and Campbell a Freshman. Both should have played D-I but: Whitfield sold drugs and Campbell killed a girl.

I was keeping stats for the team at that time as a Sophomore so I was one a few people that witnessed it.

Where did you go to school Sab?
