Can some one tell me why I see the quick slant pass on every football team except the BIlls?

We had a couple of them last week if I'm not mistaken...they need to do more of it...it'll open things up to go deep a few more times a game

My opinion...

The quick slant, for the most part, is a check-off play called at the line of scrimmage by the QB after reading the defense and ascertaining that the play is there.

We either have...A) A coaching staff that doesn't allow the QB to do that, or...B) A QB incapable of doing it.

I call it all the time in Madden.

I prefer to send my #1 receiver on a fly up the right sideline while my strong Side TE runs a flag, it confuses the hell out of the safety and my TE is wide open 80% of the time for a gain of 20-30 yards.
