Eric Moulds remembers it well. When the Bills spent their 24th pick in the first round of the 1996 draft on him, Moulds felt he had died and gone to heaven.
He knew the history.
Buffalo had made the playoffs seven of the previous eight years including four Super Bowls and five appearances in the AFC Championship game.
