No I never said that. I love the Bills and I am happy that they won. This is just a reality thread.

I want them to win every game they play. Anything else is unacceptable.

Can't stand that play for a draft pick talk. Anyone that doesn't want their team to win is an idiot.

sorry; but thats a stupid statement.

Screw the top five draft pick, its MORE important to win these kind of games.. I'd rather go 7-9 and pick 17th than go 4-12 and pick 5th with a young team like this.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...the only thing a higher draft pick guarantees you is paying a higher salary. If your scouting staff is any good, you can get still get a great player later in the rd

You are probably being sarcastic but I do agree. We are not a playoff team and have a ton of holes to fix. While I never "root" for the Bills to lose, the reality is that a 5-11/6-10 kind of season gets you a 15th or so pick. There are no guarantees with top 10 picks but the odds are still better regardless.

Agreed....the key word here being "good". Not sure we fall in that category (just being honest)

I stated while watching the game today that inevitably some Bills fans would point out this game for this exact reason. Only in Buffalo do the fans complain so much about wins...

if the front office is any good, they'll trade down to get an extra pick too.

I have no interest in losing games for a higher draft pick.

The REALITY is: high draft picks are not a guaranteed success.

Exactly, thats what teams selecting after Buffalo in the last draft proved to the Bills.

Actually, if were not top 2 or 3 in the draft, we might as well be 15 to be honest.

this is very true. risk \ reward is real sketchy in the 5-10 range with the salaries they demand in that area

Houston has been picking high since joining the league. Has it helped them?

Agreed. And I do think the last draft showed the Bills have some good scouts. Kyle Williams did not have a great game today, but when you consider the Bills got two starting safeties, a starting DT, now a starting OT (who played OK today) and four other reserves who made the roster, that says your scouting staff is pretty good.

I think Whitner will be a good/solid NFL player but I'm sorry #8 is way to high to be taking a safety. And the reason we are where we are right now is because Donadumb didn't know how to draft and basically blew the last five drafts.
Keep winning, I don't care where we draft because I really don't have alot of confidence in the front office. Until they realize you have to draft lineman early and win the battle in the trenches you will lose in the long run.
It's amazing how good the offensive skill players look when your qb has time to throw like he did today.

Thats what some were posting Bills should have done last year and blasted front office and coaches for being shortsighted; I never root to lose for you learn to be better by winning.

He played well against a 1st round pick which has a bad foot but that is an improvement just like beating a team which has been terrible is rather than being beaten by a terrible team is an improvement.
