The coach just said in a Live Press conferance that he has no schduled a visit yet.They are working on him coming to visit but as of now he has not scheduled one yet.TD wants to talk to him and he's high on his wish list just St Louis may or may not get in the way of this.....

I bet he signs with St. Louis.

TD's waiting game may backfire on him. One by one the big name players are signing elsewhere.

We will either wind up signing Spikes or we will have wasted our chances in FA, IMHO.

Who? If Peterson signs with St. Louis, that leaves only Spikes.

This tidbit of info isn't promising: The Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas reports the Kansas City Chiefs called free agent LB Shawn Barber's agent at 12:01 a.m. on Friday morning, one minute into the free agent period and apparently told the agent: "Shawn's not making it to St. Louis." They were referring to Barber's scheduled visit to St. Louis next week.

Why the hell would KC want Barber? Maslowski plays his position (WLB) and just signed a big contract with them.

Peterson, Maslowski, Barber we need one of them guys, not Spikes I like him alot but he will cost too much.

Colvin is still available but the Chiefs supposedly are on the verge of signing him.

I'd prefer Peterson, but I think that Barber would be the better deal.

remember last year when everyone wanted td to sign jeff blake? he waited it out and got bledsoe for a next year number 1 which i believe is widely accepted as having been a brillian piece of work. TD was even a finalist for most of the GM of the year awards (SI, ESPN, CNNSI, etc.)

free agency just started YESTERDAY and already people are freakin out. ou are obviously too used to john butler and his " i got 5 bucks and i need to spend it now."

I am reposting this maybe not here though. TD said on WNSA that yesterday that Peterson was coming in here next week. I don't know where all the weekend talk came from.
