I noticed the same thing.

You know, I've said for a while that if JP doesn't look significantly better after this season he should be cut, but I'm starting to revise that opinion slightly. Even if JP was to finish out the season poorly, I could see bringing him back IF and ONLY IF two conditions are met:

1. no one better is available in FA (like Brees last year- not saying we should have tried to get Brees, but someone like him)
2. This team makes a SERIOUS commitment to giving him the tools in the form of a better OL, a receiving TE like Daniel Graham and if possible a better #2 receiver.

It's a difficult decision to make. We want to make sure JP had a fair shot because no one wants to waste 2-3 seasons grooming a new QB unless it's absolutely necessary, but at the same time we don't want to hold on to JP for too long if he's never going to get it (think Patrick Ramsey, Kyle Boller, Joey Harrington...)

It's neither here nor there since after 3 years, Losmans has had a handful of games compared to them. Thing is, It's at this stage it's hard to say whether he's gonna be amongst those mentioned or those who weren't like Leaf, Robosack, etc.

You can throw up all the stats you want. If he keeps making bonehead plays like that INT for a TD, he'll be with RJ in Malibu in no time.

Try looking at this in a preseason sense.... If the Bills fandom had been told that after 10 games J.P. Losman was the #12 ranked QB in the entire NFL and was completing 62% of his throws for 10 TD's and ONLY 7 INT's, we would probably have made mention on "how he's turned the corner" and become a viable option going forward! Really think this one through people....

he's gonna have tons of those kinds of INTs and so would most qb's will if they don't have a running game to get them out of that hole everytime they get pinned deep by those punts.

Kelly in his 3rd season as a Bill ( but his 5th season as a pro) had 15 TD's and 17 INTS. I guess he had 10 more boneheaded plays than JP so far!! 18 starts is nothing!! He hasn't even played a full season yet. When this season is over I'll guarantee that he has cemented his job as the starter for next year.

Like somebody else posted unless someone like Drew Brees is available he's playing next year.

so at this rate,assuming that he's with us next year,we can expect a 4th quarter comeback in December of 2007.
