All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

If he continues to play the way he has the last 3 games, let's tag him and get something for him. If he get's pissed , Marv can always say, "where would you rather be than right here and right now ".
I'm almost sure he'll answer. "Rochester" Right Thurm? .

The more I think about it, the more I think we should make a concerted effort to keep him. He's been upping his level of play, he's been quiet and just playing and playing well. More importantly, we have the money. Why add more variables to all the holes we have on our team when we can afford to keep him.
I'd say keep as much of our secondary intact. They are probably the best group in our entire team.
Offseason...work both lines and bring in people. Let the current people know that if they don't improve offseason, they will likely get cut the next season. What we have this year with them is unacceptable!!!
the problem is, he may ask for the sky and the stars. Are we gonna give it to him? I say tag his ass and grab a 1st rd pick. Sorry Clements, it's nothing personal , just business. .

Well, of course, it always depends on how high the sky is, but if he starts doing well here and we make a reasonable offer, he may just stay. Though I can see him going to the Giants. They need help in their secondary...and a new QB. :)

Let's franchise Clements and trade Nall to the giants for a 1st rd pick. That works out perfectly.

I talked to Clements the other day and he said Rochester was chalk full of idiots that work at Wegmans. HE HATES ROCHESTER.

It was kind of foolish to promise him they wouldn't franchise him, since they are giving up their negotiating leverage after this year and not getting anything in return.
I imagine if they tagged him anyway the NFLPA would file a grievance on his behalf. They can try to do it, but if the promise was made publicly the NFLPA would probably win a grievance, since they have in the past on oral contracts.

Who else on the team might require a franchise tag over the next 4 years? Evans will be an RFA and will likely be signed to an extension. At the present time, no one comes to mind.
