Financial details of the four-year contract, a deal confirmed by Bills GM Tom Donahoe, were worth $6.425 million. It includes a signing bonus of $1.75 million and base salaries of $575,000 (for 2003), $1.05 million (2004), $1.3 million (2005) and $1.75 million (2006). "Our (coaches) liked him a lot," said Donahoe. "Over the last eight games of the season, he played really well, and we needed a guy who could line up over the tight end."

Cleveland Browns confirmed the draft pick acquired from the Buffalo Bills for TE Mark Campbell is an undisclosed 2004 draft pick. "Mark was a good player for us and was an enjoyable player to coach," Head Coach Butch Davis said.
