Meh, it's nothing new. I got mine from River City Sports ages ago.
And, to boot (Especially for you haters of the new jerseys), there is no front number when they're customized. If you end up buying a vintage "X-Theme" jersey and customizing it, you're probably going to get the classic pajama top with the jersey number on the front.

I went through the schedule and I took out the games that the Sabres only wore the Original 3rd 1970's jersey and Look at this!
old original 1970's 3rd jerseys 3-2
New jerseys 15-2-1 (the one is for the shoot-out against ATL)
