Rick Jeanneret has gone from audio to video. The Sabres today will begin selling "Top Shelf," a documentary of the team's legendary play-by-play announcer.
The DVD will have highlights of well-known Jeanneret calls, including "May Day," "La-la-la-LaFontaine" and last season's instant classic, "Now do you believe?!" There also are interviews with Don Cherry, Tim Russert, Jim Kelly, Martin Biron and Pat LaFontaine. "Top Shelf" will sell for $10 at the Sabres Store, the arena box office and at Sabres.com. Proceeds benefit the Sabres' foundation.

I'm surprised the editor didn't catch this...considering the guy worked for the Buffalo News as the lead hockey guy for so long

Bandits should play somewhere else not that I hate the Bandits, because I don't but that's what makes the puck bounce all over the place when they put the floor down over the ice same thing for concerts. Then the Sabres can't get a good shot away because it's either bouncing or it rolls up on a players stick. You've all heard it from Jim Lorentz the player didn't a good shot away because the puck was either bouncing or rolled up on end
