Rick Jenn is not doing the game. lorentz and cement head on the color. What gives?

RJ was feeling under the weather last night he will be back for Fri. night's game against the Rangers at the HSBC Arena. Lorentz didn't do to bad of a job last night

If I have to listen to Lorentz and Robitaille call a game again I'll kill someone. Lorentz is dumb. About two games ago he said:

"Buffalo's doing a lot of skating in this game"

That game calling was horrendous...I thought about changing over to the MSG announcers...I counted about 2 or 3 times he called the wrong player.

Um they are the MSG announcers, or do you mean the Rangers announcers

I thought Lorentz was at least OK. He's no RJ, but then again, nobody is. He only made a few mistakes. And his comment on "The Sabres did a lot of skating tonight" is a referance to the fact they actually came out and gave some energy or skated a lot.

He could've worded it differently like to say:

"they actually came out and gave some energy right away"

In my opinion, he was. I would have had far greater memories of him if he had hung it up when Kelly did. But I was never a huge fan of his.

somebody at work told me this, when the late Ted Darling was diagnosed with his fateful disease that would finally take his life. Jim Lorentz was the one who took over for him and John Gurtler did the color commentary. While RJ was still on WGR55 at the time with Larry Playfair and Danny Gare. this was before they knew how to simulcast games from radio to TV.
