The Rams Just Bowed Out of The Mike Peterson Race?

John Clayton has reported that the St Louis Rams are only 120,000 under the cap as of Feb 28th. I'm not sure if that includes Warners bonus, but either way they have no money to throw at Peterson, especially after resigning Williams. This is good news now Buffalo maybe number 1 on his list now....

Why would he even bother to visit if they are that close to the cap? Why would they even bother having him visit?

I'm sure the minute they agree on a contract, they can cut/restructure someone.

Also, they Tendered OT Orlando Pace. As soon as they resign the guy to a longer deal, they will have plenty of space.
