USA Today’s Jeff Sagarin has an interesting ratings system he uses for the NFL and every other pro and college sport.

If you’re into this kind of stuff, it’s good data to look at.

Here is the condensed version for the Bills:
<o:p></o:p>
14th in overall rating in the NFL<o:p></o:p>
3rd rated in the AFC East<o:p></o:p>
The AFC East is the 2nd rated division <o:p></o:p>
Bills have played the 3rd hardest schedule so far in the NFL<o:p></o:p>
Bills are 1-4 vs. top-10 rated teams<o:p></o:p>
Bills are 1-5 vs. top-16 rated teams<o:p></o:p>

I bet higher than the Bills.

But we will work on changing that up a little this week!

San Diego is 18th on the list. What's ironic is 1-11 for difficulty of schedule is in the AFC, Washington starts with #12 for the NFC. They have a 4-7 record.

Taking it even a step further, the 3 easiest schedules in the AFC belong to:

21. Baltimore, 9-2 record
19. Kansas city, 7-4 record
18. San Diego, 9-2 record

It's mildly ironic that I brought up this argument about ease of schedule and record and got clocked by everybody. I guess it shows up in the standing though. 25 wins and 8 losses, wow.
