REAGOR A TURD?
We were surprised on Friday when we learned that Broncos defensive tackle Montae Reagor had signed with the Colts for $18 million-plus over six years. Our surprise turned to shock when we saw that Reagor had started only one game in four years, after being taken in the second round of the 1999 draft.
Several league sources, including a guy who once played with Reagor, agreed. Per one source, "Reagor is a lazy, unmotivated turd whose work ethic is half-assed at best."
Another source opined that Reagor "must have had pictures on someone to get that deal."
In Reagor's defense, the thinking is that he could blossom in Tony Dungy's system. However, free agents rarely get paid on potential -- and you can bet that Reagor will be asking for a lot more coin if he turns out to be a solid player.
