[Official Site (http://www.miamidolphins.com/newsite/news/top_story.asp?contentID=4923)] The NFL tonight announced that the December 17 Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills game will return to its original 1:00 PM ET kickoff time on CBS.

The League had moved the game to 4:05 PM ET earlier this week.

"We spoke to CBS today and told them we did not believe the shift to a later start time was in the fans’ best interest," a League spokesman said. "We regret the inconvenience that we may have caused fans who are planning to attend the game or watch on television that day."

Than moving it and making everyone change plans...... Than moving it back again?
Wouldn't it have been better to just let it stay where it was instead of making people change plans twice? I mean I love the idea of the flex schedule but come on people there is no excuse for moving a game and then changing your mind.

Edit-The real reason was probably that they talked to CBS and it didn't work as well with their advertisers or something. I bet it involved money and I bet it had nothing to do with the fans.

The NFL announced Wednesday night the December 17th game between the Bills and Dolphins has been moved back to a 1:00 PM ET kickoff at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Earlier this week, the League had moved the game to 4:05 PM through the new "flex" scheduling system.

A League spokesperson said the NFL didn't believe the shift to a late kickoff was in the "fans' best interest."

The Bills say they had nothing to do with either decision to move the game.

How much do you want a bet that Ralph Wilson was in on this, Ralph hates 4:00 games he says that people coming in from Rochester,Syracuse and everywhere in NY coming to the game get home alot later rather than when the game is played at 1:00 the Bills are concerned about safety of the fans.

Troy Vincent and NFLPA sued saying Phish were going to get frostbite on their toes (Silly people - don't you know Phish do not have toes?).

NFL realized that late game + unhappy fans drinking + snowy weather = snow balls thrown at zebras, camera crew, broadcaster box, etc. Also realized there are not many flights out of Buffalo after 8 PM.
