Colts Backup RB Rhodes OUT for the season!!!

Hmmmm. Dominic Rhodes tore his ACL on Thursday and is now OUT for the season. Meanwhile....Edgerrin James is coming off a bad injury last year. Could the Colts be a team that we could trade one of our RBs to? They might be interested in someone now, in case Edge gets hurt or has problems. What do you think?

It opens up a possibility. Saints, Colts, Lions are 3 teams that could use RB depth behind their starters......I would like to see Bryson and a pick traded for some help on the DL

I forget his name, but on another fan board it was reported the Colts earlier lost another RB in addition to Rhodes. The Colts unfortunately have not in recent years had an overabundance of quality defensive linemen. Are things any different now?

Jamal Anderson and Ricky Watters are available in the FA market so Bryson still doesn't have 3rd round trading value but he definately has 4th rd. More Anderson than Watters but I feel they are risky pickups because they were hurt for part of last year as well but GM's going after Bryson will say to TD I can get someone out there without giving up anything. We shall see...

You see, with the stable of running backs that we have, the Bills have been trying to trade Shawn Bryson in an attempt to get at least a 3rd round draft pick for next year. The whole point of this thread was to speculate that with the injury to Rhodes..would that put Indy in the market for Bryson.
We're not in the market for Rhodes!!!

you're talking about brian allen-Stanford.he was a 6th round pick in this past draft.

I hate to say it...but if we are sure Henry is our starter we should give Bryson all the reps the next two weeks. Let's make him look good and up the ante on his value.
