Well it looks like when you have a chance to make NFL history you get noticed. Brian Moormanhttp://www.buffalobills.com/images/relatedicon.gif (http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4480#) who is on pace to become the first punter in league history with a net average of 40 yards was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for November on Wednesday.
In the four games Moorman punted in November his gross punting average was a league-leading 46.8. No other AFC punter averaged more than 45 yards per kick last month and less than six yards a return.

If this is the case, then you people better get off your asses and start voting for him for the Pro Bowl. He's falling behind.

he should share the honor with the punt coverage.

Anytime a punter makes the fans take the kind of notice that Moorman has, he's doing something very right. He could be the best punter I've seen, and the fact he does it in the windy Ralph is even more points in his favor.

He doesn't have the fans take the kind of notice that you thought he would. He's way behind in the Pro Bowl votes. :ill:

How the hell does Lechler have double the amount?

I think that Moorman is the best punter to ever play the game.

I never really paid enough attention to any other punters in the past to know exactly what to compare him to, so that's a good sign that this is true.

moorman is the only punter in the league that brings the nuts to take on anyone on the other team

Moorman is a beast. He also gets plenty of playing time. Maybe the Bills get him a QB for Christmas?

:jk:

Props to him.

Yes this is 3rd AFC Special Teams Player of the Month and he has got a number of Special Teams Player of the Week awards as well. Fortunately the fan votes do not count that much (1/3) and players/coaches are smarter than fans especially since NFL realizes that most of the "voting" by fans is ballot stuffing.

um

congrats to Jason Taylor, AFC Defensive Player of the Month

That is good too. Who does he play for? Only Jason Taylor I remember is the one who got man handled in Buffalo game.

I hate it when I see Moorman running onto the field since it means that our offense once again failed to get 10 freaking yards in 3 plays. But then I realize that he is actually the last person to touch the ball before the other team does and it's in good hands, or uh... feet.
