According to the San Diego Union Tribune (http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/nfl/20061208-9999-1s8seau.html):

“I'm going to be back,” Seau said. “I don't know which helmet I'll wear, but I'm definitely going to be back.”

Seau did a solid job for the Pats this year as a run-down LB, I hope they bring him back.

I lost a lot of respect for him with that damn retirement stunt, then signing with the Pats 2 days later.

He is a washedup wannabe *******. I lost all respect when he retired, let SD spend all that money on a retirement gig for him then turns around and signs with the Pats.

Just another Washedup athlete that doesn't know he is done.

He played very well for the Patriots, before getting hurt. He isn't the same player he used to be but he can still play.

sadly he still has the ability to play, just like the fossil in testaverde...........

but like many here have said/or think in their head, i do think that the NFL should pass something saying if you retire a certain time must pass.... not 48-72 hours

I agree. He was solid when he was with the Dolphins, he may not have been the force of nature he was when he was with the Chargers, but still pretty solid, especially for being in the league for as long as he has. There's a lot of players that haven't been in the league for half the time he's been around, that have since went the way of "retirement."

He should. His arm will fall completely off next year
