A little love for the Defense

4 sacks. Schobel owned D'Brick, and there were people in Pennington's face all day.

2 interceptions, one returned for a TD by Clements.

2 forced fumbles, one recovered by Denney.

    No penalties.

Back-ups stepped in to fill spots of starters...Ellison, Leonhard, Thomas...even Haggan and Wire.

Only one play allowed over 23 yards all day.

Held Pennington to 182yds passing, Houston 50yds and Washington 55yds rushing.

    Pitched a second-half shut-out. On the road.

Nice job, Fewell and Co...Very nice

Did anyone notice down the stretch when we were actually stopping the run that Hargrove was getting the majority of the snaps?

        quite astonishing all things considered

its easy to overlook all the young guys in the lineup but its pretty incredible for them to play that solid on the road against a good offense that was on fire just last week

talent is one thing but cmon jim leonhard and he didnt look out of place at all. thats gotta be some solid coaching

Hargrove was a great pick-up. He's been playing better and better each week.

He's turned out to be a nice pickup.

I think Spikes is gone after this year, and we've got the young talent to make up for it.
