MINNETONKA, Minn. (Dec. 12, 2006) -- Minnesota Vikings defensive backs coach Joe Woods was charged with two counts of drunken driving.
Woods was pulled over by a state trooper shortly after 3 a.m. Dec. 9 while driving south on Highway 169 in Minnetonka, according to the criminal complaint filed by the city attorney's office.
The officer clocked him driving 63 mph in a 55-mph zone and crossing over lane lines without signaling on numerous occasions. Woods was arrested and later registered a .12 blood alcohol concentration on a breath test, .04 above the state's legal limit.
