He doesn't quite strike me as Marv Material.

Better than Andre Davis. The guy could be a solid #2.

I guess it wouldn't hurt at Vet minimum or something - maybe our high character guys will rub off on him and he can become Marv Material.

I think I'll pass on this one.

I thought the tapes were "additional footage" that the Dols bought from the league?

In that case sign him immediately.

Why? He's been dumped twice. He's lost jobs to the likes of Alvis Whitted and Jabar Gaffney. What makes him more than another team's garbage?

Why are people so down on Andre Davis? The guy has been a special teams guru.

Right now I'd take Andre Davis over Aiken. Andre has been playing ST well and did well in temporarily replacing McGee on returns.

That being said, if we get another WR that can also catch and has good speed, I wouldn't mind replacing him. I get the feeling that the FO is loading our WR corps with speed knowing that JP is good with the bomb and that our Oline is pass protecting pretty well.

If only we had a Run D, we'd be a playoff team!!!

Let's see - the Pats have had serious WR issues this year, and he's *still* expendable. Have we learned nothing from picking up New England's cast offs?

Wow, the Patriots dumped another below average WR. The only good WR they had, Deion Branch, they let go. When your best WR is Bethel Johnson you got some serious problems.

WHAT?! You mean like running out of bounds on the first two, one of which was at the 19? The 19! I think he had one decent return.

WR Doug Gabriel released form the Pats!!Yeah, cause, you know the Patriots are just swimming in great Wide Receivers right now and they just didn't have room for someone the quality of Gabriel ... :lolabove:

I thought the tapes were "additional footage" that the Dols bought from the league?BTW, Saban cleared this up today. It was just normal TV footage of games.

A couple players misunderstood what they were and gave info that the Dolphins bought the tapes to the Palm Beach Post incorrectly. They were never bought - it's stuff the average fan has access too.

Didn't they pick up one of our recievers before the start of this year in an attempt to get into our playbook before week 1?

I'm actually a little surprised. They traded next year's 5th round draft pick for him earlier this year. During the middle of the season he seemed to be developing a rapport with Brady, was catching touchdowns. I thought he was going to be a great pickup for them.

Man, they dumped so many dud WRs that I'm losing track of who they even have anymore.
