FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (March 3, 2003 2:40 p.m. EST) - Safety Cory Hall signed a contract with the Atlanta Falcons on Monday after spending four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hall, a third-round pick from Fresno State in 1999, started 14 games last season for the Bengals and had an interception and two sacks. But his season ended for surgery on his left shoulder to repair torn cartilage.
The Falcons are trying to rebuild their secondary after starting right cornerback Ashley Ambrose was cut last month to create room under the NFL salary cap. Ambrose signed Sunday with New Orleans....more
