Ok, Say we make a play for Spikes and.....

    ...don't get him!

What are we going to do then? With the TT still on him, it means that we will have to wait 7 days to see if the Bungles match. It's a little scary to think that the stud linebackers continue to dwindle and that is a huge part of the rebuilding that this team needs. There aren't too many in the draft, so I believe TD should be very careful how he plays his hand.

That said, I have all of the faith in the world in TD and believe he has something up his sleeve...he'd better!

Nighthawk does have a point there. Of course, that's why a lot of transition players stay with their original teams...because teams are afraid to put their eggs in the one player's basket while other players at that position are getting snapped up.

IF the bungles matched, and Peterson was gone, I would think we would have no other option but to offer more cash.

To whom though. If the Bengals match our offer, Spikes is off the market...unless we trade for him.
