16:39 PT: The AP reports Buffalo Bills GM Tom Donahoe said Monday's meeting with free agent LB Mike Peterson (Colts) went well. "The meeting (with Peterson) went well," Donahoe said. "He's got a couple more trips planned and we'll be in touch with him. We generally do not get into a lot with players (visiting several teams)."

More Poker from TD. If that is true than why did he sign London Fletcher last year when he still had more visits planned. I think Spikes is just TD's first wish and Peterson is the backup plan if he can't get spikes

I agree, Peterson is clearly "plan B"

A blind monkey could have gotten us bledsoe, I do love TD though, take a look at how he drafts(the past 2) drafts:

Nate Clements
Aaron Schobel
Travis Henry
Jonas Jennings
Brandon Spoon
Marques Sullivan
Coy Wire
Mike Williams
Josh Reed
Justin Bannan

The only "Bust" he has drafted is ryan denny, and there is still time for him to become a player.

Cincy isn't nervous. They don't want Spikes to go.

But he'll probably be half the cost.

What if the choice were:

Spikes v. Peterson and Thornton or Scioli?

I think we could get Spikes AND Thornton if we could just get the damned Price situation worked out.

Agreed. But again, if the choice were:

Spikes and Thornton

or

Peterson, Thornton, and Scioli, then what?

Everyone seems to keep forgetting we only have one DE and that's only Schobel.

IF that was the choice, i would take the 2nd one in a heartbeat, But i still feel that you Make room for a guy like Spikes.

It's a call. I'm thinkin' that we don't keep a team w/ as deep a talent pool that we have together w/o making some major changes. More high dollar players simply add to that dilemma.

So I'd fix as much as possible this season and hope for the best over the next 2 or 3 seasons.
