All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
What a deal that was for New England. Raiders now get Gabriel and the 5th rounder New England gave up for the WR earlier in the season. That'll piss ya off.
In retrospect, trading for Gabriel was a mistake. He just didn't fit their offense.
However, as a fan it is hard to criticize them for making the trade. They had a glaring need and at least attempted to get some help. They had several extra picks, so it was a risk worth taking.
Possible preamble to a Randy Moss exit after the season?
To the Pats? Doubtful. Apparently Gabriel and Moss are best friends. With Gabriel washing-out in NE, I doubt Moss ever goes there. Not that I think Moss is the receiver he used to be.

No, I said that the Raider's re-signing of Gabriel is in preparation for losing Moss in the offseason. Nothing to do with the Pats.
