he looked like a high school QB out there. Throughout the game, I don't get the feeling he's going to complete ONE pass! I don't know if Losman looked that bad ever in his career - and Harrington is in his 4th year!

I shudder to think what if Donahoe had drafted him should Detroit went for that cornerback in 2002. Not that the Bills made out with the MW, but a busted high QB pick can really set a team back for years. And it was well known Donahoe was looking at Harrinton's way then.

I actually started to feel bad for him out there ... And then I remembered he was a Fin. :squish:

0.0 QB rating has to hurt (not sure it stayed that way til the end though)

It did :D Officially the worst game in Joey's career, and that's saying a LOT

I don't think that's correct...I think his rating was actually 39.02.

I believe the lowest you can get is 35.42.

0.0 was according to announcers. I thought the same thing you did.

0.0 was according to announcers. I thought the same thing you did.Rex Grossman had like a 3.? passer rating this season, so it is possible!

In registering a career-low 0.0 passer rating, Harrington finished 5-of-17 for 20 yards passing and two interceptions before being benched in favor of Cleo Lemon early in the fourth quarter.

O points. O qb rating. A Lemon shaped like a 0 takes over and does better. they sure like them zeros :loser:

But of course, it wasn't because the Bills' defense was playing well. It was because "we" sucked.

Heard the same thing last week, and just about every time the Bills have won this year.

Coincidence? I think not...

The announcers are wrong, IMO.

Here's the formula...

((comp/att) * 100) - 30) / 20 = a
((tds/att) * 100) / 5 = b
(9.5 -(int/att) / 4 = c
((yards/att) -3) / 4 = d

a, b, c, d cannot be greater than 2.375 or less than zero.

( a + b + c + d) / .06 = QB rating

Including the adjustments necessary by the 2.375 and zero parameters Harrington 'scored'...

a = zero
b = zero
c = 2.345
d = zero

2.345 divided by .06 = 39.09

Harrington already has zero's for completions, TD's, and yards, and even if every attempt he threw was an int you'd have...

c = 9.5 - (17int/17att) / 4 = 2.125 which would then equal 2.125 / .06 = 35.42.

I don't see how a score can be below 35.42.

I tried three different QB calculators on the net and got 0 each time. I know I've seen ratings in the teens before.

Maybe the formula I have is wrong?

if you throw no passes, you automatically have a 36 point something.

So you or I, who have played no games in the nfl, all have a QBR of 36 something.

It is possible to do worse then that of course. Like Joey did today.

i know i've posted this little guy a couple times, but a useful link is:

http://home.new.rr.com/rosslahaye/

it's an nfl qb rating calculator; just plug in the numbers and you'll get a value. i'm positive it's right cause i've tested dozens of actual combinations from games, and the result is the same to one decmial place as what the articles report. joey's is 0.0 given his stats.

Here's the formula on nfl.com: http://www.nfl.com/news/981202qbrate.html

I think your error is in figuring the percentage.

c = (9.5 - (int pct)) / 4, which is (9.5 - ((int / att)*100)) / 4

(9.5 - ((2/17) * 100)) / 4 ~=
(9.5 - ((.1176) * 100)) / 4 =
(9.5 - (11.76)) / 4 ~=
(-2.26) / 4 ~=
-0.565

Which then, as you said, is pushed up to 0.

By none other than Mr. Chambers and the wife beater. Trade their lazy asses. The only players that seem to work on that offense are Brown and Welker.
