Buffalo Bills (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/buf/) owner Ralph Wilson accused the league of dragging its feet on a revenue-sharing plan, an issue critical to the survival of small-market franchises like his own.
"Hey, listen, don't talk to me about revenue sharing," Wilson said Sunday following the Bills 21-0 win over the Miami Dolphins (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/mia/). "The high-revenue clubs are not going to give teams like Buffalo any revenue sharing. They haven't done it. They stalled it for years. And I'm sick and tired of hearing about it."

well you know what...with the bills finishing strong this year, and then doing the right things in the offseason, and we become a contender next year or the next...the marketing department better start getting the bills players in some ads or something...even the bills logo in one of those NFL apparel commercials, just something...outside of buffalo, there is no bills presence, except for the rare occasion that mcgahee or takeo is on NFLN...other than that...nothin.

I agree. The NFL will ride the "Who's hot bandwagon". Buffalo needs to be that "hot" team if they want a team in a few years.

Scary article. Its not scarry. Its not other owners jobs to make up for what BUFFALO won't provide its team.

Start paying normal NFL prices for tickets, Start paying normal rates for suites, and sell naming rights. The NFL shouldn't help those that wont' help them selfs.

'But ICE Buffaloians can't afford....' And thats why buffalo is going to lose the bills.

The NFL's success is directly related to revenue sharing as a foundation. It's a concept that should be preserved and enhanced, and actually revered by current owners.

That being said, OBD needs to step up to the plate and do a better job marketing the team and taking advantage of any financial opportunities that may be out there.

I think this league has passed Ralph by. It just seems like Ralph has a little piece of pie and he wants more. I don't know how many millions one needs, but it just might be time to sell.

It has passed him by and its past time to sell, but his EGO won't let him.
