Sam Cowart works out for the Pats

Could this former Bill be making yet another stop in the AFCE? This guy was a beast before his achilles injury...hopefully TKO has a better outcome.

The Patriots worked out free agent linebackers Sam Cowart and Orlando Ruff late last week, likely updating their emergency list. The team has been thin at linebacker after placing Junior Seau and Don Davis on injured reserve within the last month

I remember when sam had 3 straight sacks on continous plays against the bucs. Those were the days.

Sam used to be a beast.

That's why the Bucs effectively ended his career by deliberately injuring him. Bastards.

I don't see Sam ever returning to form.

He was damaged goods when we drafted him.

too bad he had to get hurt against the Saints in Gregg Williams' first year here - he was single handedly keeping the Saints O off the field before he got hurt.
